Graduate of the Design Department at University of Fine Arts University in Łodz. She wanted to became a fashion designer ever since she remembers. Co-funder, designer and creative director of one of the most exclusive polish fashion brands: SIMPLE CREATIVE PRODUCTS (1993-2013). Fashion is her whole life - during the season she designs more than 350 pieces. She designs for women like herself: active, curious of the world, hungry for life and fashion. Every collection tells a different story, as customers expect novelty and change. Lidia Kalita says that she is one of those happy ones for whom their job is their hobby. Awardee of all prestigious trophies of polish fashion industry. Seven-time winner the Fashion excellence competition organized by "Twój Styl" magazine. In 2010 she received the "Master of Style" title to celebrate 20 years of her work. From polish edition of Elle she was awarded the "Elle Trophy" award. Yet another award - Gazelle of Business - was awarded to her four times.

     A designer makes faint creations. They delight for a while and then fade away to make room for the new ideas. This never-ending process of creation-negation inspires me most, releases the desire to invent. All possible obstacles I encounter when working on a new collection are my fuel, they drive me into even harder work. They boost my mind, imagination and ability to find beauty in a surrounding world. To create a design means to find an ideal way of combining form and color in order to charm and captivate the person that chooses to wear it. Being a designer, finding a balance between the idea and its material representation is a true fulfillment to me. The measures I use when creating a new collection are quite constant: I find it repulsive and trivial to use too many colors, that is why every season I select it very carefully and always combine with black and grey. I want to send a clear message to women: boost their confidence in everyday life. Make them feel beautiful here and now.
